Last November, the KCL Taekwondo team embarked on an exciting journey to St Mary’s University, where we put our progress to the test against some of the best university athletes in the country at the first British Universities Championship competition of the academic year. This event marked a significant milestone for KCL, with an impressive 30 entries across two days of competition!

We couldn’t be prouder of our athletes. Every competitor demonstrated an incredible combination of passion, skill and, above all, teamwork. The unity and support shown throughout the weekend were truly inspiring and made for some very proud captains. Our athletes represented KCL with determination and spirit, while the camaraderie across the team was evident throughout the competition.

A special acknowledgment goes to our dedicated club and student coaches: Master Stephen, Jordan, Ayah, Salim and Mia! Their guidance, encouragement and expertise were invaluable to our athletes throughout the competition.
