Fundamentals Coach
Hi I'm Stephen! I am a 4th Dan that has been training in taekwondo since 2009. I am proud to have been a founding member of the University of East London's taekwondo club and coached for them previously once I graduated. My aim for my time at Kings is to create the same kind of atmosphere and environment that got me hooked in the first place. If you're going to sweat, bleed (maybe) and hit each other, then you may as well do it laughing, smiling and with people you come to consider as family. Plus you can look good doing it.... Poomsae Coach
Salim Ibrahim
Hi. I started taekwondo over two years ago after looking for a new challenge from my karate background and PhD program and have just got my 1st dan black belt. I have competed in both sparring and poomsae, and collected a few medals along the way. In the past I did both ITF and WT style but this year I will focus on WT only in . I am also a member of the BUTL National Squad and a squad poomsae captain along with Ori, and aim to compete internationally.
Committee

Vice President
Noah
Hi, my name's Noah, I'm your VP for this year! I've been doing taekwondo for four years now, ever since I joined the club as a total beginner in my first year. I've been on committee twice before, as Welfare Officer and co-Social Secretary. I've stuck around so long because of the amazing KCL TKD community. I like sparring but poomsae is alright too. I'm looking forward to a great year!

Andy
Hi! I am in 2nd year studying BSc Mathematics, and in TKD I am a fourth degree black belt with 11 years of experience, most of it in Korea. My focus in TKD is poomsae, and last year was my first season competing. You can find me at most trainings (especially on Wednesdays) where I aim to spread and develop the art of poomsae. Last year I was part of one of the first teams to compete in the self-defence routine category, and we hope to continue our success into this year.

Social Secretary
Ayesha
I’m Ayesha, a second year Computer Science student and a green belt. When I joined the society last year, I thought that taekwondo would just be a hobby for me but by attending some of the events it allowed me to get to know the members better and feel like I was part of a family. By being a social secretary this year, I hope to pass that feeling onto everyone and expand the taekwondo family!

With one year experience in tkd, I am always looking forward to improving my kicks through mental and physical challenges with good vibes and laughs!! 😙👍 (specially during sparring, and during lessons in general, and even during grading.. 😐😑)
